After months of waiting, PBJ’s bestselling black sulphur-dyed 14oz XX-019 denim is back in stock! This pair showcases the best PBJ has to offer, featuring amazing textures, dyeing techniques, and significant aging potential.
This pair is constructed with PBJ’s specially developed 14oz blue selvedge I.D. XX denim. This denim has been slowly woven using vintage denim machines, resulting in a beautifully slubby texture. The yarns are thread-dyed with black sulphur dye. With wear and washing, this denim will develop a high-contrast black and white appearance.
To achieve the “Ultimate Black” colourway, PBJ has dyed all the buttons and rivets in pure black as well! The high-density veg-tanned lambskin patch will gradually soften and become shinier with a darker patina! Finally, PBJ has included their signature "indigo leaf" embroidered logo in a tonal black colour!

The denim is unsanforized, which will shrink 4~8% with washes:
- Cold Soak: 0.75" in the waist; 1.25" in the inseam
- Warm Soak/ Cold Machine Wash: 1.25" in the waist; 1.75" in the inseam
- Warm Machine Wash: 1.75" in the waist; 2.5" in the inseam
