“Drenched in a waterfall of INDIGO!”
This latest denim jacket from Pure Blue Japan is constructed with their specially developed 14.5oz blue selvedge I.D. extra-slub denim. Crafted slowly using vintage machines, this process yields a uniquely vertically slubby fabric with an amazing three-dimensional texture. The warp threads are dyed with two different tones of indigo: 20% Grand Indigo (darker indigo) and 80% Genuine Indigo (lighter indigo). With wear and wash, you can expect this denim to age into a high-contrast look, featuring differing vibrant indigo hues and strong vertical textures.
For a more modern style and fit, this modified type 3 cut exhibits a slightly longer vertical length and features two extra front side pockets compared to typical vintage type 3 cuts. As always, Pure Blue Japan have included their signature hand-embroidered "indigo leaf" on the back for some tasteful detail!
