More sashiko magic from PBJ!
Back again with their specialty fabric, PBJ has woven an incredible "double-Warps" sashiko with tastefully sized raised yarn threads in a classic 5-pocket denim design!
These pants are constructed with PBJ's specially developed 12.5oz "Double-Warps" sashiko knitting fabric. Originally used in firefighters' uniforms of the Edo period in Japan, Pure Blue Japan has specifically developed its sashiko fabric for stylish and modern everyday wear! The threads of warps are sulphur-dyed with two different colours -- Dark Grey and Ultimate Black, with wear and wash, it will age nicely to a high-contrasted look like PBJ's raw denim!
Construction-wise, this pair features a classic 5-pocket denim design with hidden pack pocket rivets, chain stitching and custom iron buttons for extra durability! The high-density veg-tanned lambskin patch will gradually soften and become shinier with a darker patina! Finally, PBJ has included their signature hand-embroidered "indigo leaf" on the back pocket for some tasteful detail!
