These trousers are constructed with PBJ’s specially developed 11oz high-density “Dry-Touch” chino, slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms. The fabric has a smooth, dry hand with subtle irregular textures beneath the surface, giving it a unique character and authentic vintage feel. The fabric is yarn-dyed, allowing the colour to develop beautifully with wear and age into a contrasting, soulful character—just like the well-worn vintage pieces that inspired it.
In terms of construction, this piece is modelled on the classic ’41 military chino, updated with a few modern touches from PBJ. It features gusseted waist pockets for enhanced durability, while the pocket bags and waistband are lined with high-density cotton twill for long-term wear. A zip fly adds everyday practicality, and PBJ’s signature “Indigo Leaf” logo is subtly embroidered on the front waist pocket for a refined finishing detail.
