Tokuno Blue (特濃蓝), in Japanese, means "Ultra-Dark Indigo". To create this 8oz peach-colored selvage denim, Momotaro chose the standard long-fiber Zimbabwe cotton for the warp (exterior) and extra-long-fiber, hand-picked Zimbabwe cotton for the weft (interior), then slowly and tightly woven on a vintage denim machine. This results in the denim having a smooth touch and some uneven textures underneath. To achieve the depth of indigo as "Tokuno Blue (特濃蓝)", Momotaro has done over 25 times indigo-dyeing process, many more than other denim brands do!
Construction-wise, we love the triple chain-stitching construction, which will hold the shape over years of wear!
