An extra-special edition denim from the Momotaro line, this pair combines signature Zimbabwe cotton denim with a silk blend to create unique denim with next-level comfort and new fading possibilities!
This pair is made up of 60% finest hand-picked Zimbabwe cotton and 40% pure silk blended denim. Slowly woven on vintage machines, this 16oz denim has a silky smooth touch yet a slightly irregular texture, combining the rugged durability of denim with the comfort and soft sheen of silk! The yarns have been grand-indigo dyed over 20 times before weaving, resulting in a dark colourway that will age to a beautiful high-contrast indigo look with time!
This pair features all the details you’d expect from Momotaro, with iron Momo buttons, hidden copper rivets and jacquard-lined pockets for ultra durability! Momo have chosen a special indigo-dyed deerskin leather patch which will age to a soulful look with time! Of course, this pair includes Momo's signature peach-coloured inseam and selvedge threading!
The 0405 model is a mid-high rise, slim-tapered fit. We find it sits pretty high on the waist, features a roomy thigh, and tapers down to a tight leg opening. A modern tapered fit, with a more accommodating wait and thigh line.

These jeans are sanforized, however, because they are in raw condition, some shrinking will occur depending on the different method of soaking or washing used:
- Cold Soak —— 0.5" in the waist; 0.75" in the inseam
- Warm Soak/Cold Machine Wash —— 0.75" in the waist; 1.25" in the inseam
- Warm Machine Wash —— 1.25" in the waist; 1.75" in the inseam
