OAX have connected western culture with Japanese culture yet again! This open-collar 'aloha' style shirt is made with B.N.D.S (Brand New Deadstock) vintage Yukata garment fabrics worn in the warm festivals of japan.
For those who don't know, OAX focus on remaking garments with rare vintage fabrics. These shirts are made of vintage indigo discharged printed Yukata garments from Japan, Traditionally used in Japanese ceremonies. Each panel of the shirt is made up of various Yukata fabrics to create an interesting combo pattern. With time, the grand indigo-dyed fabrics will slowly fade to a softer contrasted look and reveal more shade shades of indigo.
For a casual look, the collar features an open design with a hidden button if you prefer to fasten it up completely. To add some tasteful contrast, OAX has used polished urea buttons that have a natural sheen.
