“Lumber On Deck!”
Inspired by a practical jacket made by D Lewis Ltd during WW2, this “Lumber” jacket blends the elements of flight and workwear. To this day, many luxury brands still draw inspiration from this functional jacket.
Made entirely in Britain from 1.1mm vegetable-tanned horsehide, this jacket showcases the unique character of horsehide leather. Compared to standard cowhide, horsehide offers a richer natural sheen, a tighter grain structure, and a more pronounced texture. With years of wear, it will develop an even deeper patina and a truly soulful character.
Inside, we've chosen a medium-weight, high-density red cotton twill lining that provides excellent durability while keeping you comfortably warm season after season.
Design-wise, we also love the functional twin waist pockets and hidden left chest pocket, allowing you to safely store your daily gear. The adjustable cuffs and elasticated knitted hem let you wear different thicknesses of layers underneath the jacket throughout different seasons.
