“Timeless Vintage Style!”
Inspired by a rare vintage 1930s Snap-Tite chore jacket, Warehouse & Co. has recreated the design using its own custom-developed fabrics, giving this jacket a more distinctive and refined appearance.
The shell of this jacket is crafted from Warehouse & Co.'s specially developed 10oz white-selvage-ID pinstripe fabric, woven at an ultra-slow pace on a reconstructed vintage denim loom. Unlike conventional hickory fabrics, this 10oz selvage pinstripe offers a remarkably smooth hand feel while retaining a pronounced vertical texture. The indigo yarns are sulphur-dyed, allowing the fabric to develop a rich patina similar to raw denim — albeit at a slower, steadier pace than traditionally indigo-dyed fabrics.
The collar is lined with lightweight Japanese corduroy, giving the jacket a warmer visual tone and a distinctly vintage character. Meanwhile, the pockets and cuffs are reinforced with lightweight Japanese converted twill, chosen not only for its unique appearance but also for the added durability it provides through years of wear.
Design-wise, we love the twin front snap-button closure and adjustable cuffs, allowing you to wear different layers with ease across different seasons.
