Twice the cloth, twice the heart!
A stunning piece from Iron Heart, we are proud to bring you the Iron Heart Double Cloth workshirt. A staple Iron Heart workshirt design, with all the trimmings, this shirt is set apart from the double-weave cloth used in its construction. A tricky process, of which only a few companies can do, whereby two separate sets of warps and wefts are stitched together on the same loom to produce a fabric with two explicitly distinct faces. Inspired by the iconic vintage Lee's 'Stormy Rider' denim jacket, IH here updates it for an all-seasonal piece.
Featuring all the Iron Heart classic heavy-duty construction, this double-weave has been specially woven on a dobby loom for extra texture. It has then been carefully rope-dyed with a lovely dark indigo. This heavy dye, coupled with the two-faced construction and dobby loom work makes for a weighty fabric with plenty of character. As you wear it the dobby textures will gracefully age across the shirt, creating some stunning fades.
Perfect for the colder months, this Iron Heart piece is cosy warm, and elegant all over. With tonal stitching across the garment, chest pockets and pencil holder, and striking IH Red bobbin thread, this is a shirt of impeccable construction and detail.
Normally being two-faced is questionable, but not so with Iron Heart’s beautiful work!
