Inspired by the infamous 1953 Levi's Type II, Iron Heart have updated the fit to be slightly longer and less boxy for a more contemporary, fashionable cut.
This jacket is constructed using IH’s specially developed 19oz red selvedge I.D. denim. Slowly woven on vintage machines, this 19oz denim has a smooth yet subtly irregular texture with a substantial feel. The warp yarns have been thread-dyed with grand indigo, and with wear and washing, you can expect to see beautiful high-contrast indigo ageing, revealing lighter hues of sky blue!
In traditional Iron Heart fashion, this jacket has been constructed to the highest standards, featuring double-needle chain stitch construction, bar tacks, and an extra-thick cowhide patch. Borrowing from the Type 1 design, this jacket features an adjustable cinch-back, ensuring you can always get the perfect fit!
