This jacket takes its inspiration from the classic late-’50s mechanic work jacket. IH has improved the materials and construction, making it an impressive version for you to enjoy.
This jacket is constructed from Iron Heart’s specially developed Japanese 14oz red selvage ID broken twill denim, which is slowly woven on a vintage denim machine. This denim has a smooth touch, and the combination of left-hand and right-hand twill gives it a dense “zig-zag” textured pattern. The warp is thread-dyed with grand indigo, and with time, it will age beautifully to a high-contrast look, revealing various shades of indigo.
Design-wise, we love the practical twin straight zips and adjustable hem and cuffs, which allow you to wear different layers underneath throughout the seasons.
