The shell of this vest is constructed with FW's specially developed heavyweight jungle cloth made from 100% cotton. Slowly woven using vintage machines, this ultra-dense fabric has an incredible subtly uneven texture, designed to be ultra-durable even after many years of wear. The surface is treated with a waxy paraffin finish, which provides water resistance and a windproof seal. The yarn-dyed colourway will gradually reveal a soft contrast with time, even more exaggerated than those vintage photos you see of pilots in the 1930s!
The inner lining is another step above the standard. Made using 100% Peruvian alpaca wool, the body, sleeves, and collar lining are soft like cashmere and gentle on your skin without the typical irritation from other brands. They've also reinforced this lining with heavy cotton flannel interlining for increased warmth and durability.
With two buttoned and expandible waist pockets and one large zipped game-style pocket on the back, this vest has plenty of storage space for your daily needs!
