“WAR MODE!”

This field jacket takes its inspiration from a classic M-1951 design, originally issued by the US military during the Korean War and subsequently becoming an iconic fashion staple worn by artists, mods, and punks in the decades since!

Constructed with Freewheelers' proprietary Japanese medium-weight, high-density Oxford fabric, this blend of 65% long-fibre cotton and 35% nylon results in a smooth, crisp hand-feel and a slightly water-resistant function. The olive colour is thread-dyed; over time, it will age nicely to a more soulful look, just like a vintage archival piece.

Construction-wise, Freewheelers has slightly refined the original fit, featuring gently tapered shoulders and a slightly slimmer silhouette for a more modern, stylish look. Along with the waist pockets, this jacket provides plenty of storage space for your daily essentials. Speaking of details, it features large brown urea buttons on the sleeve cuffs and epaulettes. The classic drawstrings are equipped with extra-thick cowhide adjusters, allowing you to achieve the perfect fit while accommodating different layers underneath throughout the seasons.

If you are after an all-seasons model of the M-1951 field jacket, this is the ultimate high-end version!
