Denime X Warehouse Co. LOT. 232XX-54 14.5oz Indigo Dyed Type 2 Denim Jacket (1954 Model)
$572.00 AUD
High-End Type 2 for all the No.1 Denime Fans!
Inspired by the very first 1954 Levi’s Type 2 denim jacket, Denime has re-created this classic design and elevated it into the ultimate version.
This jacket is crafted from Japanese 14.5oz white selvage XX denim, specially developed by Kurabo Mills and Denime. The fabric is woven from long-fibre, light-brown African cotton blended with dark-brown tea cotton, slowly produced on vintage shuttle looms. The result is a denim with a silky-smooth hand feel and subtle uneven textures. The Grand Indigo is thread-dyed, and with wear and washing, they will gradually reveal bright indigo hues, ageing into a beautifully high-contrast look.
Design-wise, this piece is a faithful tribute to the very first Type 2 jacket in history. It combines details reminiscent of WWII and Type 1 models: back pleats for improved movement, extra bar-tack stitching on the chest pockets, and charming stitch run-offs on the collar, cuffs, and hem that perfectly reflect the authentic “Rush Hour Production” vibe of the era.
If you’re looking for the ultimate version of a Type 2 denim jacket, this is the ideal choice!
