This jacket is Boncoura's take on the classic blazer with smart tailoring and a sharp silhouette! The body is constructed with their own specially developed 12oz nep denim. This 100% cotton fabric has been woven at an ultra-slow pace using vintage shuttle looms. This results in a smooth texture, with plenty of character! The denim has been yarn-dyed with pure indigo by Boncoura's highly skilled craftsmen. With time, this jacket will slowly age to a high-contrast look, with many shades of light and dark indigo hues!
Speaking of construction, this jacket features a sharp tailored fit. Following the tradition of the tailor-made blazer, this denim blazer is cut and sewn by the best Japanese suit tailor giving it an elegant look!
Speaking of details, Boncoura does it subtly but tastefully! The body and pocket flaps are lined with their own specially developed "London stripe" cotton twill fabric which is silky soft against the skin and adds some nice contrast to the denim! The sleeves are lined with Boncoura's specially developed HBT satin fabric, which makes this jacket effortless to put on and provides some next-level comfort! The tasteful large golden brass buttons are crafted in a repurposed bottle cap factory. These are first moulded, then finely engraved by hand to make the design even sharper! With time these will age with a contrasted patina, as the deeper areas become darker and raised sections become even shinier!
