This aloha shirt is made from Samurai’s specially developed lightweight “Diamond Sashiko” jacquard fabric, meticulously woven on a vintage jacquard loom from one of Japan’s oldest Sashiko knitting workshops. The intricate texture is a testament to traditional craftsmanship, blending heritage technique with modern wearability. The cotton threads are hand-dyed in varying tones of natural indigo by master Japanese artisans. With time, the natural indigo will age slowly and gracefully to a more soulful look!
Fitting-wise, it is inspired by vintage 50s Aloha shirts and features slightly wider open collars but with a tasteful, balanced design.
