This shirt takes its inspiration from the early ‘40s mechanic workshirt; FW twists the design and improves the materials, making it a unique one for you to enjoy!
This mechanic shirt is constructed from Japanese 8.5oz selvedge denim, slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms, giving it a smooth hand feel and a subtle vertical texture. The grand indigo yarns are rope-dyed, and with time, you can expect high-contrast fading, with the short vertical textures becoming increasingly pronounced as the fabric ages.
Construction-wise, we love the oxidised iron buttons, which give this shirt a rugged, workwear-inspired character. The entire garment is constructed using chain-stitching, ensuring excellent durability and allowing it to withstand years of wear.
