For decades, Dubble Works has been making some of Japan's most serious tees and sweats. This season, we have their latest version of their bestselling loopwheeled L/S tees using their newly developed 7.7oz “fallen cotton” fabric!
Using their vintage re-constructed 'Stand Wheeler' loopwheel machines in Japan, Dubble Works slowly knits their fabric for these midweight tees using a process that uses recycled cotton for an enhanced slubby texture! This process takes a whole day to make enough fabric to make 10~15 tees, and the result is unbelievable.
A pigment overdye across the whole garment means that the colour is almost like a painting - a truly unreal quality! Similar to an effect used by high-fashion brands on the runway, this pigment dye really pops off the canvas! As you wear them, this pigment dye method means you'll see some incredible high-contrast fading!
With a triple-stitched, heavy ribbed collar and cuffs and a lock-stitched bottom hem, this is a tasteful minimal design for quality!
