This 13oz selvage "Ajiro Denim" is slowly woven using a vintage denim machine to create the beautiful uneven 'roping check' pattern. The criss-cross pattern has an amazing 3-dimensional texture you can see and feel! The colours have been sumi and grand indigo thread-dyed to create a beautiful monochrome look! Traditionally used in Japanese calligraphy, Sumi dye is an amazing natural black colour historically made from burnt pinewood roots. With wear and wash, you can expect this garment to age to a high-contrasted and also very soulful look!
Construction-wise, this coverall features two large waist pockets, one buttoned chest pocket and one open chest pocket for all your daily storage needs! Speaking of details this coverall features an extra-thick cowhide leather patch with a custom design showing the beauty of the "Ajiro" weaving pattern! The sumi-coated iron buttons will age to a shiny vintage look with time!
