Timeless flannel workshirt inspired by traditional Japanese sashiko!
This shirt is constructed with heavyweight sashiko flannel fabric specially developed by Samurai. The surface has a mottled ‘pear-like' texture made up of irregular-sized yarns woven at an ultra-slow tension on vintage machines. The black sulphur colourway is thread-dyed then overdyed,again! Which will age to an incredible ‘Black and White’ contrasted look with wear and washing!
Constructed with lightweight cotton twill lining on the cuffs, this shirt is built to a jacket-like standard! Gusseted side seams and chain-stitch run-off complete the workwear look, while the indigo-dyed nut buttons will age beautifully alongside the black sashiko fabric!
