Taking inspiration from vintage work boots worn by forestry workers during the 19th and early 20th centuries, TFH has crafted its own modern logger boot design that is equally suited to the city streets as it is to outdoor settings! Made with the highest-end Japanese horse-butt leather and decades of experience, this is a serious boot that will only look better with age!
These boots are constructed using high-density 1.3mm thickness horse-butt leather. Vegetable-tanned over many months, this black tea-core leather has an amazing depth of colour that accentuates the natural characteristics of horsehide leather. With less frequent leather care, you will see lighter tones of tea-core leather. With more frequent leather care, the surface will darken with a beautiful glossy patina!
TFH has used stitch-down construction to minimise water from entering the shoe while ensuring that you can always resole these boots for lifetime wear! The heel counter and interior sides of the boot have been lined with calfskin leather for extra comfort and enhanced durability, while the rolled leather edges at the ankle opening make this boot very comfortable for daily wear! The ultra-durable Vibram half-soles give this boot a clean, modern look and can be easily replaced after heavy wear. Finally, TFH has included an embossed logo on the shaft of the boot for some tasteful detailing!
