“Back to Tradition!”
This 15oz “Denim Sashiko” is specially developed by Studio D’Artisan. Slowly crafted on vintage denim machines, the warp is thread-dyed in grand indigo and the weft is thread-dyed using traditional Japanese Kakishibu dyeing (also known as persimmon tannin dyeing), giving this “Denim Sashiko” a warm tone with rich brown hues, especially under sunlight. In time with wear, this fabric will age nicely to a high-contrast look, just like their raw denim.
In terms of design, we appreciate the olive coloured mini HBT inner pockets that have a silky-smooth texture and pair beautifully with the “Denim Sashiko” fabric. Fit-wise, these trousers feature a high-rise waist with a relaxed tapered silhouette, creating a clean and modern look.
