“Extreme Slub!”
This 16oz red selvedge ID ultra-slub denim was specially developed by Studio D’Artisan to celebrate their 45th anniversary. The warp is spun from No.6 thick cotton yarn, while the weft uses even thicker No.5 yarn. Woven slowly on vintage denim looms using traditional Japanese techniques, the fabric develops a rich, irregular “ancient cloth” texture.
The warp is yarn-dyed with genuine indigo, blended with a touch of natural indigo to create a rich “Extreme Blue” tone. Over time, the denim will age into a high-contrast, sky-blue fade.
