SOC is back with the stunning 'Prairie' jacket, taking inspiration from chore jacket styles from the early 20th Century. Not a strict reproduction, SOC has taken the best parts of different jackets and recreated something truly modern but with a vintage soul!
The shell of this jacket is constructed with their specially developed,14oz double indigo yarn-dyed selvage duck canvas. This duck canvas is slowly woven using vintage machines to produce a substantial material with a subtly irregular texture! With time the grand-indigo yarn-dyed threads will age to a high-contrast indigo look! SOC has chosen a 100% cotton medium-weight flannel for the lining. This lining provides some extra insulation to protect you from the cold while also being completely washable for practical use!
Speaking of details, this jacket features an innovative asymmetrical pocket design! With one buttoned and one open chest pocket, and twin waist pockets that double as handwarmer pockets, this jacket has plenty of storage space for your daily needs! SOC has used large black-coated iron buttons inspired by early 20th-century button styles. The black dye will chip and patina with time, aging to a beautiful vintage look!
