A. < Concept >
Inspired by the 2003 film 'The Last Samurai', one of the most iconic Samurai-themed movies, recognised by our Western Samurai fans.
The core idea behind this project is our belief that every Samurai Jeans fan has the potential to transform into a “Modern Western Samurai”—someone who dares to fight for his life, his family, and most importantly, his FREE WILL！
If you carry the “Spirit of the Samurai”, then you are a Samurai!

B. < Denim >
Crafted with Samurai’s specially developed 25oz gold selvage ID ultra-smooth denim—made from full-grain cotton and slowly woven on vintage looms at an extremely slow pace. The grand indigo yarn is thread-dyed over 25 times, resulting in an ultra-deep indigo tone. With wear and wash, they will develop high contrast fades which echo the “Slash of a Katana!

a. “Paper Flasher”
The paper flasher is designed to be your first portal into this story.
“Violence Unfolds at Midnight, In Silence.”
Just like how we confront life each day—if you fight for it with honour, silently and from the depths of your soul—you are already walking the path of the “Spirit of the Samurai.”
b. “Full-Grain Cowhide Leather Patch”
We selected a Wagyu-grade, full-grain cowhide in natural tan , embossed and then printed it in indigo. The design is our original creation, titled 《影月夜 (Shadowed Moonlit Night)》—a Frozen Movie Moment, curated just for you!
The castle represents the lone Western Samurai who dares to confront fate. The moon reflects the eternal message—“Nothing Is Permanent” (Samurai Jeans’ logo)—shrouded beneath indigo clouds.
“The Calm Before The Storm…”
With time, the leather will darken and shine—just like how the night deepens before the Katana flashes with honour, in silence…
c. “Back Pockets”
The back pocket design mirrors the theme of the paper flasher.
We’ve reinterpreted Samurai’s classic ‘Seagull’ arc-stitch into our original “One Slash to the Throat” motif. The silver thread at the bottom represents the speed of the Katana, while the dark burgundy symbolises the blood spilled from the enemy’s throat！
This is designed through the lens of Japanese Zen—we don’t show you violence directly, but we want you to FEEL it.
The ‘Upside-Down-A’ red tab is exclusive to this limited edition—reserved only for the most loyal Samurai Jeans fans！
d. “24K Gold-Plated Buttons”
Every button on this limited edition denim is plated with 24K gold—a symbol of Samurai Honour, in sharp contrast to the silver-threaded arcs！
“SHARP!”
e. “Yoke Lining and Inner Pockets”
For our true collectors, we used Samurai’s original lightweight cotton satin for the yoke lining and inner pocket fabric, printed with traditional Ukiyo-e Samurai illustrations！
Look closely and you’ll find: Swallows (Speed), Flowers (Aesthetics), and the Katana (Spirit of the Samurai)—all embedded in one seamless artwork that channels the core essence of Samurai！
f. “Others”
