Samurai 8oz Indigo Dyed Denim "Musha-e" 8oz Open Collar S/S Shirt
$396.00 AUD
“Year of the Snake!”
This denim open-collar shirt from Samurai features a striking graphic design inspired by traditional Japanese ukiyo-e paintings from the Edo period, which depicted scenes of legendary warriors and historical battles. This shirt features the mythical warrior Wada Tanenaga battling a giant serpent in the cave of a mountain. Samurai has resurrected this legendary tale in style to commemorate the Year of the Snake!
This shirt is constructed with lightweight 8oz selvage denim, specially developed by Samurai. Slowly woven using vintage denim looms, this denim has a subtly irregular texture and is extremely comfortable against the skin! Thanks to the grand indigo thread-dyeing process, this denim will fade to a high contrast sky-blue indigo look with washing and wearing!
The amazing graphic designs are skillfully oil screenpritned by Samurai’s highly skilled artisans! The result is a striking, ultra-crisp design which will age to a soulful vintage look with time! Construction-wise, this shirt features a simple yet elegant design, with a relaxed open collar design, single chest pocket, polished nut buttons, and twin-needle construction for enhanced durability!
If you’re looking for a stylish open collar denim shirt with a stylish design inspired by traditional Japanese paintings, Samurai is a great choice!
