With a design based on 1930’s mining shoes, and made with some seriously tough construction, the Red Wing Iron Rangers are a truly formidable boot. Built out of a tough oiled cowhide, with a Goodyear welt, the Iron Rangers will hold up in through any situation, and make you look sharp whilst doing so.
This pair is made in a 'roughout' muleskinner cowhide, whereby the leather is inverted to reveal the grain and texture. Markedly different to how a suede-style shoe is often constructed, in which the creation process weakens the leather so as to reveal the inner grain, this technique keeps the toughness Red Wing is so reputed for.
To really keep you snug and safe the triple-stitched construction also features double-layer toecaps, and some heavy-duty chrome hardware for lacing. A Nitrile cork insole means you’ll stay steady on your feet, and super comfortable throughout the day, and a Vibram outsole doubles down on this, for the ultimate boot!
As you wear them in the boot will shape to fit your foot wonderfully, and with its classic Red Wing construction will hold up for many years!
