Ancient dyeing techniques with a modern twist!
PBJ has cooked up this amazing new denim, combining the indigo dyeing expertise with traditional kakishibu (persimmon) dyeing techniques! This pair, woven with their create their extra slubby denim, will age to a totally unique look, unlike any other indigo fabric!
This pair is constructed with its specially developed 15oz blue selvedge I.D. extra-slub denim. This fabric has been slowly using vintage machines resulting in ultra-slubby denim with an amazing three-dimensional texture. The warp is yarn-dyed with grand indigo before weaving, while the weft is yarn-dyed with kakishibu, a traditional Japanese dye derived from persimmons, which, when exposed to sunlight, will darken to a tasteful burnt orange-brown colour! With wear and washing, you can expect this to age high-contrast indigo look with an attractive shade of persimmon colour!
This denim features heavy-duty chain stitching, hidden back pocket rivets and roped belt loop construction for added durability! The high-density veg-tanned deerskin patch will gradually soften and become shinier with a darker patina! Finally, PBJ has included their signature "indigo leaf" embroidered logo in a custom gold colour!

The denim is unsanforized which will shrink 4~8% with washes:
