These pants are constructed with 100% cotton sashiko fabric. Originally used in firefighters' uniforms of the Edo period in Japan, Momotaro has specifically developed its heavyweight sashiko fabric for stylish and modern everyday wear! Slowly woven on vintage machines and grand indigo thread-dyed, this fabric will age beautifully to a high-contrast indigo look, as the 3-dimensional texture reveals darker and lighter indigo tones!
Construction-wise, this pair features a classic baker pant design with two waist and rear pockets sewn onto the trousers. This pair features a zip fly for practicality and a custom iron top button that will age with a beautiful patina. The cut is straight with a slight taper for a stylish and comfortable fit!
