Since their introduction, FW's aviators' trousers have become one of its most iconic and bestselling designs, and they keep getting more interesting each season. Inspired by early 20th-century aviation uniforms, FW has taken history into its own hands and created its version of the classic design.
This season, FW have used a specially developed heavyweight cotton drill to construct their aviators. Slowly woven using vintage machines, this fabric has a tough, irregular texture designed for maximum heavy-duty wear. The dark colourway has been yarn-dyed and will slowly fade to a beautiful high-contrast look, just like those soulful vintage models!
True to FW's vision, these are created with tailor-standard construction. From the curved hip to the extra heavy thread, these are built with elegance and durability in mind. Large polished urea buttons in tonally contrasting colourways are used for the fly and pockets for that authentic, military vibe! The left leg features a utility pocket and matches the rear fastenable pockets with their curved flaps. The leg opening is customisable thanks to the button adjuster so that you can tuck them into your favourite quality boots! The inner waistband is lined with a soft HBT for comfort!
