“Classic War-Mode XX denim from Denime!”
Crafted from 14.5oz XX denim developed by Kurabo Mill over 30 years ago — the very same fabric that defined the original Denime — this denim is slated for discontinuation in 2026, making each pair a genuine collector’s item. Woven slowly on vintage Toyoda GL3 shuttle looms, this XX denim blends short-staple white U.S. cotton with long-staple tea cotton, producing a subtly brownish hue, a smooth hand feel, and delicate vertical slub texture. The denim is repeatedly dyed in pure indigo using room-temperature water, resulting in a rich, deep “Grand Indigo” tone unique to this process. With time, wear, and wash, this denim evolves dramatically — developing soulful, high-contrast fades reminiscent of classic wartime XX denim.
Design-wise, it’s all about the details we love — the natural tan deerskin leather patch, hidden back rivets, and the iconic red tab all pay homage to vintage craftsmanship. The high-rise, classic straight fit channels the spirit of 1940s wartime Levi’s, offering a timeless silhouette that feels both authentic and enduring!

The denim is unsanforized, which will shrink 4~8% with washes:
- Cold Soak: 0.75" in the waist; 1.25" in the inseam
