A new classic from the Momotaro line, this is the perfect mid-weight pair of jeans. Made from a classic 13oz Zimbabwe cotton denim, it’s a lovely combination of soft and easy-to-wear denim that is perfect all year round wear!
Using the same weaving method as their 15.7oz denim, this pair strikes the perfect balance between super-soft comfort with a slightly irregular texture for some soulful character! Just like their 15.7oz denim, this has been indigo yarn-dyed around 20 times resulting in an ultra-rich, almost black look! With time, you can expect to see some beautiful high contrast fading with plenty of lighter and darker indigo hues!
This pair features all the details you’d expect from Momotaro, with iron Momo buttons, hidden copper rivets and jacquard-lined pockets for ultra durability! Momo have chosen a special indigo-dyed deerskin leather patch which will age to a soulful look with time! Of course, the signature Momo peach-coloured inseam and selvedge threading!
The SP line also features the iconic Momotaro “Going to Battle Stripes” emblazoned across the back pocket! These have been carefully screen-printed by the skilled Momo craftsmen and will age to a vintage crackled look with time!
The 0306 model is a mid-rise,slim-tapered fit. We find it sits comfortably with its higher rise, and with a slightly more accommodating thigh.

The denims are sanforized, however, due to the fact that they are in raw condition, some shrinkages still remain with different ways of soakings and washings:
- Cold Soak —— 0.5'' in the waist; 0.75'' in the inseam
- Warm Soak/Cold Machine Wash —— 0.75'' in the waist; 1.25'' in the inseam
- Warm Machine Wash —— 1.25'' in the waist; 1.75'' in the inseam
