For those in the know, Freewheelers products are some of the most highly prized and sought-after garments in the market! Here we have their 1946-47 series denim jacket made from 5 different kinds of short fibre U.S cotton.
Modelled on the most classic Levi's vintage samples, this jacket is constructed with Freewheelers specially developed 14oz red selvage I.D denim fabric. Slowly woven on vintage machines, this this denim has an incredible, subtly irregular texture with a slightly neppy appearance. Yarn-dyed with genuine indigo, this will age to a beautiful, high-contrast sky-blue indigo look with wear and washing!
With vintage-inspired chain stitch runoffs, contrasting denim lining on the pocket flaps and selvage re-enforcement on the pocket button, this is a seriously detailed piece! With a cinch-back construction, you can always adjust this jacket for the perfect fit!
Compared to the 1943 version, this fits with slightly larger armholes and sleeves with a short vertical length.
