To be honest, this "Tokuno Blue" denim series could be 'The Best Standard Denim' that Momotaro has created so far!
"Tokuno Blue (特濃蓝)" in Japanese means "Ultra-Dark Indigo". To create this 14.7oz peach colour selvage denim, Momotaro chose the standard long-fibre Zimbabwe cotton for the warp (exterior) and extra-long-fibre hand-picked Zimbabwe cotton for the weft (interior), then slowly and tightly woven from the vintage denim machine. This results in the denim having a smooth touch and some uneven textures underneath, and the interior is silky-smooth after a soak or wash before wear, which you will love to wear daily! To achieve the depth of indigo as "Tokuno Blue (特濃蓝)", Momotaro has done over 25 times indigo-dyeing process, many more than other denim brands do!
Construction-wise, we also really appreciate the binding construction for the waist, which we usually see this detail only in high-end tailored pants nowadays! Natural indigo hand-dyed full-grain cowhide leather patch will shine out through time!

The denims are sanforized; however, because they are in raw condition, some shrinkages remain with different ways of soaking and washing:
- Warm Soak/Cold Machine Wash— 0.5" in waist; 0.75" in inseam
- Warm Machine Wash— 0.75" in waist; 1" in inseam
