Since the introduction, the aviator chinos from FW have been a classic, and each season just keeps getting more interesting. Inspired by vintage aviation uniforms, FW has taken history into their own hands and formed its version of the classic design.
These trousers are constructed with FW's signature heavyweight jungle cloth fabric. Slowly woven on vintage machines, this is a densely woven and hardwearing fabric, which is perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. The surface is skillfully coated with a waxy finish that not only provides a water and windproof seal but also creates a smoother surface and will maintain over time. The sepia brown colourway is yarn-dyed and will age to a soulful look with time, just like vintage military trousers from the 30s!
In true FW's standard, these trousers are crafted with tailor-standard construction. From the curved hip to the extra-heavy thread, these are built with elegance and durability in mind. This S-8 version features twin thigh pockets on the front, as well as two rear pockets fastened with large, polished brown urea buttons for some tasteful tonal contrast! The leg opening is customisable thanks to the button toggle, perfect for tucking into your favourite boots! The soft HBT lining on the inner waistband provides some extra comfort and durability!
