FILE 001:Freewheelers 14oz 507XX Type 2 Denim Jacket (1951 Version) -- 3 Years of Wear

This '51 version of the Type 2 denim jacket from Freewheelers is well-worn by Melbourne staff, Vito, over 3 years (three times per week). As he puts it:
"This is my favourite denim jacket so far, you will understand the magic of FW's specially developed 'Twisted-Yarn' denim when you regularly wear and wash it. Its ageing way is similar to some 50s vintage Levi's denim jacket, however, with much higher-end textures and construction that sometimes you believe it more like a 'Piece of Art'!"
As Vito tells us, "I have a few type 2 denim jackets from different brands. I love how balanced the chest pockets are positioned, so you can match this type 2 denim jacket with almost everything in different seasons."
I usually wear this denim jacket when I am working in Melbourne's physical store. I sweat a lot on the collar, especially in the summertime. So the collar fades a lot, which tells how much hard work I have done for CORLECTION, lol~"
I love how this deerskin leather patch ages with time, it turns darker and appears shinier, I think it is the living proof of 'Golden Age', huh~"
"The design of the chest pockets is the 'Heart of Type 2 Denim Jacket' in my opinion. What I have here is a classic red tab and 5oz indigo denim lined flaps of pockets. Classic Military Denim Jacket Vibe!"
"To a denim jacket, from my experience, the sleeves usually fade to the highest-contrasted look. I love how the sleeves age, it is just 'One of A Kind'! Because this 14oz 'Twisted-Yarn' denim is made up of different thicknesses of cotton threads and dyed with different tones of indigo, it appears in different shades of indigo and different types of textured ageing look (such as 'Striking Lightning Fades', etc) with time!"
"I also love the design of the backside, the simpler look with 'Panels-Construction' on the sides to give this jacket a more three-dimensional silhouette."
"Of course, for a hardcore Japanese denim fan, it is all about DETAILS! I appreciate the design of enamel-coated buttons, you would tell how beautiful they could be with time."
"The oval-shaped, vintage Scovill button inspired copper rivet is ageing to an orange look, it is hard to tell if it is Real Vintage or not."
"Selvage ID is the GIFT for all the true denim fans, you might tell whether the denim comes from the vintage shuttle loom or not. This denim jacket that I believe I can leave to my next generation, or maybe next-next generation."
