This pair of Warehouse 14.5oz S1001XX (1000XX) 1946 "Deadstock Blue" Denim belongs to our Melbourne VIP Friend -- Jiewei, who shares:

" 2023 — that was around the time when more and more Warehouse & Co. fans started looking for the 'Deadstock Blue' series denim. I was lucky enough to own a pair myself from CORLECTION, and I’ve been wearing them for over two years now. Looking back, I realise just how much time I’ve spent with them."

"Before I started this indigo journey with them, I had a little 'Denim Head' problem — I had too many different pairs of denim on hand, but not enough time to wear them all. So I asked CORLECTION’s Lee for his opinion.

Lee was very straightforward: 'Get a pair of them, work on some very natural fades, and wash them every week. You’ll be amazed.' ”

“ 'Wow... Is it really that simple? Wash them every single week?' ” I was a little doubtful at first...

However, during the first year of wear, I started wearing them four days a week and washing them every week. The result was better than I expected. I began to see more and more shades of indigo revealed with every wash, while the 'Lightning Strike Fades' started forming — from tiny dots, to lines, and eventually into unique patterns.

The iron buttons started to develop a little rust, little by little. Fades began to appear across the centre of the belt loops, and even the HBT inner pockets started to fade into a more vintage look.

Everything is progressing."

" There was another reason Lee suggested I wash this pair of denim every week — something I still remember clearly. I wanted a pair of denim with unique 'Train-Track' fades running along the side seams. After around 52 washes during the first year, I suddenly realised one day that this pair had developed those beautiful 'Train-Track' fades — something I had never really experienced with my other denim, which I used to wash only every two or three months."

"At the very beginning of the second year of wear, I noticed that the deerskin leather patch had started to crack and tear off, most likely from the frequent warm-water machine washes. So I decided to slow things down a little — wearing them three days a week, but still washing them every single week as planned (laughs~)."

" During the second year of wear, the ageing process really started to speed up, especially with me still washing them every single week. I noticed the 'Snake Eyes' arc stitching had started to wear out. DARN... 'Deadstock Blue?' I questioned myself (laughs~)"

" After two years of continuous wear, I started to notice many small damages appearing throughout the denim. It was the first time I truly realised how quickly time had passed without me even noticing."

"I was thinking about a scene — when I become very old, and my grandchildren ask me for some life advice, I would probably say:

'Never waste your time, and find yourself a good pair of selvedge denim.' (LOL~) "
