FILE 031: Pure Blue Japan 12oz Cotton Sateen Field Pants -- 3 Years of Wear

This pair of Pure Blue Japan 12oz Cotton Sateen Field Pants was worn by our Melbourne VIP Friend -- Jiewei, who shares:

"I know PBJ is famous for its fabric development, and I already own a few pairs of their raw denim. That’s exactly why I wanted to try something different from them. This is my first pair of PBJ’s non-denim pants. After 3 years of wear, I can honestly say I deeply love these field pants. From the fabric to the small details—like the buttons, rivets, and overall construction—everything is incredibly well done. I have to say, they were worth every penny I paid."

"I was told that this 12oz cotton sateen fabric is slowly woven on vintage machines, and the olive color is sulphur thread-dyed. I’ve been wearing these about twice a week for over three years, and I wash them regularly every week. Because of that, the 12oz cotton sateen has started to develop subtle horizontal fades, gradually taking on a more vintage military vibe. The buttons also feel like they’ve been slowly polished by time."

"Because I have a small waist but prefer a slightly more relaxed fit, the waist adjusters are a feature I really appreciate. They allow me to tighten the waist by about two inches while keeping the overall silhouette relaxed, which fits perfectly with my personal preference."

"TIME is godly.

Most of the time, what I appreciate the most is TIME itself.

With Pure Blue, this time has been truly special."
