We know many of you would love to have Warehouse 800XX 14.5oz nep denim in 900XX fitting, so here is the collaboration we have done for y’all!
For the leather patch design of this collaboration denim, it is actually inspired from the original Warehouse 1001XX ( Acidic Treated Version) Denim (a.k.a “Long Horn Bull”) which had been sold out 2 decade ago & famous for it is ageing like some dead-stock 1950s brand new Levi’s.
The original Warehouse 1001XX Denim is recognized as some of most legendary Japanese denim that position Warehouse as “King Of Vintage” in Japanese Denim Industry, nowadays, a brand new pair can easily go for at least 1000USD on Auction. They definitely are the true 'Vintage' of Japanese denim.
We found a roll of old stock 800XX denim stocked in Warehouse's office from over 2 years. The indigo colour has been a little bit oxidised by air naturally! When we visited the Osaka office, we asked if we could use this roll as our first collaboration denim...and here it is!
The ‘Traphouse’ is our first collaboration with Warehouse, we aimed for our 1st collaboration to be a ‘ Future Classic’ like the original Warehouse 1001XX so that’s why we make it a ‘Skull’ version which will be ETERNAL!
For the deerskin leather patch, we ask Warehouse to use their “Heated debasing and printing” technique to finish it just like their original Warehouse 1001XX.
We love their classic ‘Snake Eyes’ arc stitching, so we asked to use indigo sulphur dyed cotton thread to finish the arc stitching. You might not see it in brand new condition like a dangerous snake laying hidden in the garden at night. With wear & wash, you will see the arc stitching more and more, such a beautiful vibe, isn’t it?~
For added contrast and durability, the front side pocket bags have been made with a smooth, olive colour sulphur dyed herringbone twill fabric!
As our first collaboration with WH, take a hit of this ‘DENIM FROM THE DEAD' you’ll be pleased ,no-doubt!
