As one of Japan's long-established and most respected denim brands, Warehouse continues to bring out some of the reproductions of iconic denim and workwear garments! This latest denim is Warehouse's best recreation of Levi's famous "Big E" denim, regarded as one of the holy grails for vintage denim collectors!
Studying their collection of vintage "Big E" denim Warehouse has specially developed this 7 x 7 14oz denim that replicates the original early 1970s denim! Slowly woven on vintage machines, this denim has a smooth yet subtly irregular texture with a slightly neppy appearance! The genuine indigo colourway has been yarn-dyed and will age to a high-contrast sky-blue look with time!
Speaking of details, this pair features a paper patch, copper rivets, and chain stitch run-off on the waistband for that vintage-era charm! The back pockets feature Warehouse's signature "snake-eyes" arcuate stitching and "genus" red tab that replicate iconic Levi's detailing!
Fitting-wise, this denim is cut in a classic straight fit with a very slight amount of tapering to the leg opening which gives the denim an elegant silhouette!
