Back in the WWII days, the US army donned this style as rugged and practical gear for daily use. The wide brim is perfect for keeping the shade out 360 degrees and allowing your soldiers to keep cool!

This specially developed 10oz denim is not your typical fabric. In raw condition, the sheen is silky smooth and has a smooth texture. With wash & wear, the texture will come alive with a more irregular appearance and deeper shades of indigo becoming revealed. Thanks to the silver-grey dyed weft, the overall tone is darker. This is just like some real vintage USN or US ARMY denim fabrics developed back in the day. Warehouse has reached back in the past to bring us a future classic in wardrobe staples!

Warehouse has drawn inspiration from the 'skivvy' undergarments worn by US Navy crew in the early part of the 20th century, creating a lightweight, highly breathable yet highly textured tee!
The fabric has been slowly woven using vintage 1920s super-slow loopwheel machines which give the fabric a slightly neppy texture and are quite stretchable like some of the most classic vintage tees of the past!

To ensure their garments did not fly off in the wind on laundry day, US Navy crew would fasten their tees to the deck using rope fastened to stitched holes on the sides of the garments. To recreate this feature this tee features two stitched hole openings on either side of the hem and includes rope tags to fasten your tee to your crew ship in bad weather. Or can you wash as normal, the choice is yours!

This 13.5oz denim is WH's specially developed fabric with an unmatched 'dead stock' vintage appearance. It's made up of a blend of 4 different kinds of USA cotton and skilfully vintage indigo dyed and woven in Japan using vintage machines. The surface has a soft feeling with a subtle nep and vertical texture. With use, you'll see a strong vintage fade reveal with sky blue indigo shining out.

Staying true to the vintage collector's dream of the 'T-Back' type 1, this comes with all orange cotton stitching and the backside seam. Originally this detail was only found on the big sizes of vintage jackets as manufacturers wanted to make better use of the limited width of vintage loomed denim.

In true vintage style, WH has only used pure cotton threads for the chain stitch and single needle construction. For the added soul, the collar features run off stitching. The sleeves are made up of a single piece yet still feature a tapered design, a classic detail of type 1s which is very difficult to execute. With silver coated iron buttons and a red 'GENUS' levis style tab, the detailing is all on point for a vintage atmosphere. The rear cinch back adjuster has been black oxidised and has a nice sheen. As for the inner leather tag a beautiful deerskin leather has been used!
