Inspired by vintage fitted caps, UES has recreated the atmosphere of USA baseball caps but with the Japanese appreciation of denim and aging.
Created with UES classic 9oz grand indigo-dyed denim, the smooth surface will gradually develop a strong vertical texture and reveal a sky-blue indigo look. With time, you'll see a surprise check lining appear as the brim fabric frays.... a beautifully timeless vintage look.
For classic nostalgia, the vintage machine-embroidered patches add a three-dimensional look and are executed with precision. The 6-panel crown construction makes up for a comfy fit and thanks to the elasticated rear you'll always have the correct size. With vintage machine-made eyelets, you'll stay cool no matter the weather.
This 55th-anniversary version comes with Japanese lightweight indigo-dyed cotton twill lining for the brim and a hidden ‘Name tag’ inside just gives it a ‘Good Old Time’ look!

The UES Indigo Poplin Work Cap is the perfect piece to compliment and elevate any outfit. Modelled on the 1930’s caps of the train-workers building the American railroads, the UES work cap is a signature piece from the brand.
Made of a wonderfully pliable 10oz Japanese cotton poplin material, this cap has been fashioned from slowly woven fabric on one of UES’ vintage looms. This process has resulted in stunning strong horizontal texture across the entire piece. The indigo colour is thread-dyed, setting in a deep rich colour. With wash and wear this colour will age to a high-contrasted look and deepen across the textured surface.
Made with a three-dimensional, pleated design and elasticated rear section, so that you’ll get a perfect fit every time, this is truly time-tested piece!
This particular model is based on a 1967 work cap, which itself was derived from the 1930's models. UES has made this then for the celebration of the 55th Anniversary of this 1960's mode. A limited edition, for true UES fans!

The classic UES flannel shirt has finally arrived in stunning indigo! Made of 100% thick cotton, this shirt is comprised of indigo rope-dyed yarn. The cotton threads have different indigo colour densities to create a subtle chambray across the shirt, and the cotton wick has been left undyed for some stunning fading.
Woven on a vintage loom this here is some thick 100% washed cotton, weighing in at 12oz. This means this shirt will keep you plenty warm during any season!

These feature a curved style chest pocket design which is inspired by a 1940s workshirt.
Woven using a re-constructed vintage denim machine, the fabric is inspired by indigo wabash cotton twill and thread dyed in grand indigo. This means with time the pattern will retain, unlike other brands that use printing methods. These have an amazing texture in which you can see the alternating pattern is raised and will fade to a more contrasting look.

UES ‘ULTIMATE' BOOT SOCKS
As UES proudly proclaims on the front - These are some Strong and Rugged Boot Socks, fit for everyday and hardwearing use!
Woven on vintage shuttle looms, these socks are knit from thick reinforced cotton to maintain shape and comfort. Dororon cotton, along with mesh knitting is used across much of the sock to help with sweat absorbency and prevent unpleasant odours.
In the spots where cushioning is needed a thick cotton pile is used to help support you and keep you comfy. The line along the back of the ankle, the Achilles tendon, is doubly reinforced to help keep the sock sturdy and long-lasting. Curl yarns are used for extra grip on the toes, sole of the sock, and heel also.

This specially developed medium-weight knitting fabric is inspired by Japanese traditional 'Kanoko' knitting fabric and knitted from the oldest vintage loop knitting machine, which has some very unique dotted textures on its surface. The colours are naturally over-dyed, with wear and wash, you will see the dotted textures become more visible and the polo shirt will age to a more soulful look!
To maintain its shape over years of hard wear, this polo shirt is constructed with a ribbed collar and sleeves!
