Pure Blue Japan 6.5oz "Kasuri-Dyed" Tees
"Richly Textured Like Marbling Wagyu!"
Demonstrating their expert dyeing techniques, PBJ continues to amaze us with their stunning indigo creations and this tee is no exception! PBJ has utilized an ancient indigo dyeing technique called Kasuri, which was developed from Ikat dyeing during the reign of the Ryukyu Kingdom around 1200AD. This technique creates beautiful irregular patterns and images in the fabric!
These tees are constructed with 6.5oz kasuri-dyed knitting fabric, specially developed by PBJ. Slowly woven using vintage machines, this fabric has an incredibly soft touch, with a subtly irregular texture and slight stretchy feeling for maximum comfort and breathability! The real magic is in the Kasuri dyeing technique, which has been perfectly executed by PBJ's highly skilled craftsmen to create a beautiful swirled pattern from the dyed and undyed yarns. With time, the indigo thread-dye will age to a soulful look, as the pattern becomes even more enhanced!
Perfectly constructed to PBJ's high standards, this tee features a crew neck for comfort and their signature hand-embroidered "indigo leaf" on the side for some tasteful detail!
