This pair of trousers is constructed with Omoto Denim’s specially developed 15oz sashiko knitting fabric, which is slowly woven on a vintage machine at an ultra-slow pace, giving this fabric a unique, uneven hand feel. The warp cotton yarns are thread-dyed in grand indigo. With wear and wash, they will age nicely to a high-contrast look, just like their raw denim.
Every detail has been carefully designed: from the vegetable-tanned sheepskin leather patch and the distinctive white tab on the back pocket, to the soft yet durable herringbone twill inner pockets. Inside, a woven tag lets you record the start of your indigo journey—track the date you first wear them, along with every wash or soak.
