Woven on a 1950s Toyoda GL9 shuttle loom, the fabric develops an unmistakable tactile character only possible through slow, traditional weaving methods. To create the deep, signature “Grand Indigo” color, the yarns are rope-dyed with pure indigo over 20 times, resulting in a rich, saturated hue that promises dramatic fading and vibrant patina with wear.
