This jacket draws inspiration from the early 1950s L-2B flight jacket, now reimagined by Iron Heart with a cleaner, more modern silhouette for contemporary wear.

The outer shell is crafted from Japanese 4.8oz silky-smooth, scratch-resistant nylon specially developed by Iron Heart. While it offers a naturally high level of water resistance, in addition Iron Heart have also treated the outer fabric with a highly water repellent resin coating — a non-fluorine-based formula that provides eco-conscious waterproofing. The interior of the jacket features a lightweight nylon taffeta lining.

In terms of design, we appreciate the tubular knit collar, cuffs, and hem, all crafted to retain their shape through years of wear. Twin front zips and two interior gun pockets further enhance the jacket’s functionality. Compared to the original vintage version, the fit has been refined into a slimmer silhouette for a cleaner, more modern appearance.
