Freewheelers 14oz 506XX Type 1 Denim Jacket (1933 Version)

Like a black-and-white snapshot of workers from the past, Freewheelers have recreated some truly amazing denim jackets inspired by American 1930s styles!

This jacket has been constructed with 14oz denim specially developed by Freewheelers. Compared with their bestselling standard 506XX 1947 type 1 jacket, this fabric has been dyed to create a darker, deeper indigo colour! Thanks to the slow weaving process on vintage machines, this fabric features the perfect amount of mild slubby texture. With time, this will fade to a beautiful sky-blue look with plenty of indigo contrast!

Speaking of details, this jacket has a ton! First up, this jacket features a cinch-back waist and classic pleated placket construction to ensure the perfect fit! The beautiful deerskin leather patch featuring the "Vanishing West" buffalo design pays homage to the classic Levi's design of the 1800s! The smaller yellow enamel-coated buttons add a tasteful pop of colour. With time these will naturally chip and age to a soulful look! The inside pocket flap is constructed with a contrasting lighter-ounce denim so you can enjoy two different types of ageing! The riveted pocket, sleeves and chain stitch construction ensure that your jacket will remain durable for a long time to come!

If you are looking for a premium Japanese type 1 denim jacket, with a classic design inspired by the 1930s, then why not go for Freewheelers?
