The Flat Head Horsehide Double Riders Jacket (Black Tea-cored)
The shell is made of a 1.3mm thick horsehide which is specially developed by Shinki, the most famous Japanese leather tannery for The Flat Head! It takes 4 ~ 6 months to finish its vegetable tanning process and its black uneven dyeing (a.k.a Black Tea-core Dyeing). With wear, you will expect some more beautiful sheen and also some reddish-brown underneath coming up little by little.
This jacket is lined with their signature lightweight kersey rayon, which is made up of the fibre of bamboo. It is antibacterial material and also makes this horsehide jacket more breathable on warm days!
Construction-wise, the back of this jacket comes with pleats that allow you to move your shoulder and arm more comfortably. The back has twin iron buckles that allow you to adjust for different styling and layering in different seasons! The buckles are painted with brass, with wear, you will expect both buckles will age to a crackled vintage look.
Fitting-wise, compared with some 1960s vintage versions, the sleeves are slimmer and the vertical length is longer, the body shape is more curved which fits perfectly for a modern fashionable look!
For those who are looking for an 'Only The Best' double riders horsehide jacket, we guarantee this will amaze you!
