Stevenson Overall Co 'La Jolla' 727-RXX Denim (Slim Tapered Fit)

Size Guide

The spirit of early denim is reborn!

As the most iconic denim from SOC, the 727 'La Jolla' model is a slim tapered fit that has been popular for many many years!

SOC's signature 13.5oz green cast denim, has been slowly woven with vintage machines to create a subtly textured denim that appears as classic indigo denim at first. However, with wear and washing, you can expect to see some serious vintage-looking green-blue hues come out! It also features a unique green selvage ID and a super soft feeling thanks to the 100% Zimbabwe cotton.

SOC has drawn inspiration from pre-20th Century denim styles to create a ton of interesting details! Skilfully created by Japanese craftsmen, this pair is sewn using ‘single needle’ construction, a super difficult task that makes up for an elegant look! The doughnut fly buttons are leather-backed, which will age with a soulful patina. The curved 'smiley' shaped back pockets are sewn using a 'z-stitch' reinforcements rather than the standard rivets as an added tasteful detail!

If you are looking for a classic slim-fit green cast denim, with plenty of tasteful details that evoke the beauty of old-world charm, you can't look past the SOC 727 La Jolla!

How We Measure

Pants and Shorts

Waist:

With the major buttoned up (i.e. the top button) open the jeans and lay them flat, like shown. Measure from the front where the major button closes to the back belt loop. Double this measurement to find the waist measurement.

The way we measure the waist is different from the 'Side to Side' technique. If you are used to the 'side to side' technique you can roughly roughly downsize by 1 inch.

For example, 'side to side' measurement for The Flat Head 3002 waist is 28inch and using our method measures at 29.25inch.

Front Rise:

With the jeans lying flat measure from the crotch bar tack to the top of the waistband.

Back Rise:

Spread out the crotch so the bar tack is visible, then measure from the crotch to the top of the waistband.

Thigh:

One inch down from the crotch, measure flat across to the other side.

Inseam:

Flatten the leg and measure along the inseam from the crotch to the leg hem.

Leg Openning:

Measure straight across the hem from side to side.

Tops

Shoulder:

Lay flat then measure from the shoulder's edge to the other shoulder's edge.

Chest:

Lay shirt flat and measure from pit to pit.

Sleeve length:

With the sleeve flat measure from the shoulder to the cuff.

Arm hole openning:

Measure from the shoulder down to the pitt.

Vertical length:

With the shirt facing down, Measure from below the collar to the bottom hem.
